Tyler is the managing partner of Schnitzer Johnson & Watson, and devotes his practice to litigation, primarily focusing on insurance coverage, bad faith, wrongful death, toxic torts, and premises liability. Tyler has significant courtroom experience, including successfully trying several jury and bench trials for major hotels/casinos and insurers where the plaintiffs have sought millions of dollars in damages. Additionally, he has extensive appellate practice experience, having presented several writs and appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court.

Representative Cases
- Successively defended a third-party administrator in a bad faith claim where plaintiff asserted a claim for $50 million, including claims for punitive damages and intentional infliction of emotional distress, which damages were not awarded by the jury.
- Obtained a $4.8 million dollar verdict for an insurance company as a result of misrepresentations made by an insured on an insurance application.
- Successfully defended a hotel casino in a claim for lost wages by an employee who sued as a result of a battery committed by an off-duty co-worker.
- Obtained a summary judgment on behalf of a hotel casino on punitive damages claim involving allegations of excessive use of force and battery.
- Obtained a summary judgment on behalf of a hotel casino involving sexual assault claims by a guest against an employee.
