Michael R. Esposito

Michael is a Shareholder in the firm’s litigation and corporate governance practice groups.  Michael’s principal practice areas include complex civil litigation, business litigation, corporate law, contract disputes, insurance defense, real property, professional and premises liability. Michael practices in both state and federal courts, and is experienced in resolving matters through both international and domestic arbitration and mediation. Michael’s appellate experience before the Nevada Supreme court also provides valuable insight into his client’s trial strategies.

Michael’s practice assists businesses from start-up to wind-down, and everything in between.  Michael provides local and national businesses with general “outside counsel” services, and understands that litigation can often be avoided in commercial or corporate disputes through careful drafting of important records, such as vendor contracts, corporate resolutions, corporate bylaws or operating agreements.

However, when litigation becomes necessary, Michael has repeatedly prevailed for his clients through aggressive litigation tactics and a thorough understanding of governing legal principles.  Michael has obtained positive results for his clients in many complex matters including the Uniform Commercial Code, Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act, Nevada Chapter 624, and Nevada Chapters 78 and 86, among others.

Michael has provided pro bono services to the Children’s Attorneys Project with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and has mentored multiple new attorneys as they started their own practice through the State of Nevada’s Transitioning Into Practice Program.  Michael has consistently been recognized as “Top Rank” attorney (formerly “Legal Elite”) by his peers, an honor awarded to the top 3% of attorneys in Nevada in a poll of more than 5,000 attorneys by Nevada Business Magazine. Michael was also named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2017 - 2024.
