Scott devotes his litigation practice to all Insurance Defense, premises liability, and professional liability cases. Scott has tried many jury trials to verdict and has also briefed and argued several cases in front of the Nevada Supreme Court.

  • Arguello v. Sunset Station, Inc., 127 Nev., Advance Opinion 29, June 2, 2011. Defended Sunset Station, Inc. (Oral argument in front of a three Judge Panel)
  • I represented The Equity Group in a slip and fall accident through trial. The Plaintiff asked in excess of $1 million dollars and the jury returned a Defense verdict. This case was then appealed by the Plaintiff, and the Nevada Supreme Court Affirmed the verdict.
  • I also represented Sunset Station, Inc. on a vehicle theft in the valet lot. I filed a Motion for Summary Judgment based on NRS 651.010(1) and the District Court granted my motion and dismissed the case. However, it was taken up on appeal and I briefed and argued this matter before a three Judge Panel.
