- Ms. Schiffman represented an insurance company in a UM/UIM, bad faith case before the United States District Court, for the District of Nevada and obtained summary judgment in my client’s favor. The underlying case settled with a settlement agreement and release of all claims. Despite the executed release, Plaintiff filed suit disputing the settlement. On behalf of her client, she filed a motion for summary judgment, arguing that Plaintiff was precluded from bringing the action pursuant to the release. The motion was granted.
